William Burgess & Susanna of Bedford County, Virginia. Back in 1978 I wrote a book entitled Burgess, Mullins, Browning, Brown and Allied Families. We still have a few remaining copies. Thanks to Michael Burgess author of The House of Burgesses we have DNA samples that prove that William Burgess who died in 1712 in Richmond County, Virginia and William Burgess who died in Bedford County, Virginia in 1778 have the same DNA.
