I Henry Bailey of the County of Fauquier considering the uncertainty of this mortal life being now sick in body, but of sound disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following: First I desire that all myu just debts and funeral expenses be paid, and that a fair inventory be taken and appraisement of all my personal Estate (negroes included and returned to court for record.) Secondly, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Nancy, all my estate both real and personal, to be held and kept together as it now is, or as if I was living, for and during her natural life, only, and that she is to educate clother, feed and take care of my family children, out of the profits arising from the same, in first and fair proportions of the income. But if any of my daughters should hereafter marry and move off then and in that event a fair evaluation of all my personal estate negroes included shall be had and after deducting one third part of the same for the benefit of my said wife Nancy, and the daugther or daughters so marrying, are each to have one seventh part of the remaining tow thirds of my said personal estate, as they may marry and leave their mother to them and their heirs forever. Thirdly, I give and bequeather, unto my son Joseph Bailey all the tract of land whereon I now reside. (subject the life estate of the said Nanncy to him and his heirs forever. Fourthly, I give and bequeath unto my Nancy a neegro girl named Patsy, now loaned to, and in the possession of my daughter Malinda, who has lately married to one William Minter. In trust nevertheless for the benefit of my said daughter Malinda, for and during her natural life only, and after her death, the said slave Patsy and her increase shall go to the children of my said daughter Malinda, to be equally divided amongst them and should she die leaving no children then and in that case the said slave and her increase shall return to my other children or their heirs. Fifthly, shoud my said wife die, before all or any one of my said daughters now single should marry it is my wish at her death the personal estates (negroes included) shall be equally divided between my seven daughters now single. But if upon a fair valuation of personal estate, it be found that my daughter Malinda will not have as mus as the rest of my daughters; I desire that from crop or any other means my wife will make her portion equal to my other daughters. Sixthly, and lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said beloved wife Nancy my whole and sole executrix to this my last will and testament, and I desire that she be permitted to qualify without giveing security, as executrix In testimony of which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23 day of November in the year 1841. Carter's Run, Fauquier, Virginia August 21, 1821. Anderson died July 11, 1894 in Harrison, West Virginia, at 72 years

She married Thomas Cockrell in Fauquier, Va, September 4, 1848. Thomas was born in Fauquier, Virginia March
22, 1822. He was the son of William Cockrell and Sally Purkins. Thomas died January 1, 1885 in Fauquier,
