1. George W. Jackson¹ Heflin was born in Fauquier, Virginia about 1826.

He married Hannah Bailey in Fauquier, Virginia, January 10, 1850. Hannah was born in Fauquier, Va June 1830. She was the daughter of Henry E Bailey and Nancy Alice Ball. Hannah died November 9, 1880 in Carters Run, Fauquier, Va.

George W. Jackson Heflin and Hannah Bailey had the following child:

2 i. Lucy Virginia² Heflin was born in Fauquier, Virginia March 15, 1855. Lucy died 1896 in Fauquier, Virginia. She married Moses Franklin Burgess in Fauquier, Va, December 22, 1875. Moses was born in Prince William, Virginia May 9, 1845. He was the son of Moses Burgess and Caroline Brady. Moses died May 23, 1928 in Prince William, Virginia, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Oakdale Cemetary, Prince William, Virginia. (See Moses Franklin Burgess for the continuation of this line.)
