He married Sontag before 1836. She was born in Saxony. She died before 1880.

Frederick J. Boehm and Sontag had the following children:

2 i. Frederick W.² Boehm was born in , Saxony 1837/1838. Frederick died after 1880. He married C. 1862. C. was born 1844/1845.

3 ii. Christina Boehm was born in Wildens, , Saxony February 28, 1839. Christina died 1925 in Oh. She married Peter New in Oh, 1857/1858. Peter was born in Arnheim, Brown Co, Oh February 25, 1835. He was the son of ?conrad New and Mrs.. Peter died 1918 in Higginsport, Brown Co, Oh. (See Peter New for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. Ernest Boehm was born in , Saxony 1846/1847. Ernest died after 1880. He married Henrietta about 1872. Henrietta was born 1851/1852.

5 iv. L. H. Boehm was born in , Saxony 1851/1852. L. died after 1880. He married Eula Reisinger about 1876. Eula was born 1850/1851.

6 v. L. Boehm was born in Oh? 1852/1853. L. died after 1880. She married Meinig about 1871.
