20. Samuel⁴ Cummings (John³, Isaac², Isaac¹) was born in Topsfield, Essex Co, Ma February 14, 1708/1709. Samuel died December 11, 1804 in Sharon, Norfolk Co, Ma, at 95 years of age.

He married Susannah Hood in Topsfield, Essex Co, Ma, November 7, 1733. Susannah was born about June 20, 1714. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Hood and Joanna (Dwinell) Dunnell. Susannah died January 14, 1812 in Sharon, Norfolk Co, Ma.

Samuel Cummings and Susannah Hood had the following children:

21 i. Samuel⁵ Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma September 12, 1734. Samuel died in Sharon, Norfolk Co, Ma. He married Elizabeth Robbins June 16, 1756. IGI Batch #C501821, Serial #0507.

22 ii. Susanna Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma December 20, 1735. She married Samuel Holmes December 2, 1762.

23 iii. Joanna Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma September 19, 1737.

24 iv. Ruth Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma August 9, 1739. Ruth died 1832 in Ma Or Me. She married William Hewins Corp. in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma, November 27, 1759. William was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma December 16, 1735. He was the son of Ebenezer Hewins Lt. and Judith Porter. William died March 4, 1802 at 66 years of age. 25 v. Solomon Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma May 26, 1741. Solomon died January 12, 1806 at 64 years of age. He married Rebecca Coney October 7, 1762.

26 vi. Nathaniel Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma May 8, 1743. He married twice. He married Chloe Forest in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma, November 15, 1770. He married Elizabeth White May 13, 1775. Elizabeth was born in Dedham?, Ma.

27 vii. Mary Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma August 20, 1745.

28 viii. Rebeckah Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma October 14, 1748.

29 ix. Richard Cummings was born in Stoughton, Norfolk Co, Ma February 19, 1750. Richard died September 8, 1839 in Union, Me, at 89 years of age. He married Elizabeth Robbins March 8, 1774. Elizabeth was born July 8, 1754. Elizabeth died February 23, 1831 at 76 years of age.

30 x. John Cummings was born in , Ma June 22, 1753. John died December 20, 1820 in Winthrop, Ma, at 67 years of age. He married Ruth White April 23, 1776. Ruth was born in Dedham?, Ma.

31 xi. Joseph Cummings was born in Sharon, Norfolk Co, Ma 1755. Joseph died June 5, 1849 in Sharon, Norfolk Co, Ma. He married Mehitable Estey December 11, 1783. Mehitable died February 8, 1826.
