3. Richard³ Hood (John², John¹) was born in Lynn Regis, , Co. Norfolk, Engl about 1625. Richard died September 12, 1695 in Lynn, Essex Co, Ma.

He married Mary Newhall. She was the daughter of Anthony Newhall (see notes). Mary died February 14, 1727/1728.

Richard Hood and Mary Newhall had the following child:

+ 4 i. Nathaniel⁴ Hood was born June 9, 1669.
