1. Maturin¹ Ballou was born in Prob, , Devon, Engl 1610/1620. Maturin died about 1662 in Prob Warwick, Bristol Co, Ri.

He married Hannah Pike in Prob Prov, Prov Co, Ri, 1646/1649. Hannah was born about 1630. She was the daughter of Robert Pike and Catherine. Hannah died about 1714.

Maturin Ballou and Hannah Pike had the following children:

+ 2 i. John² Ballou was born about 1650.

+ 3 ii. James Ballou was born 1652.

4 iii. 4 Ballou was born after 1652.
