Valentine Whitman and Mary had the following children:

Susannah2 Whitman was born February 28, 1658. Susannah died
about 1734. She married James Ballou July 25, 1683. James was born in Prob, Prov Co, Ri 1652. He was the
son of Maturin Ballou and Hannah Pike. James died about 1741. (See James Ballou
